I’ve been trying to use Lookeen for the past two weeks – it seemed to work at first – now it doesn’t index – ruequestng a refresh daily with no indexed files. Indicates Prograss OK but 0 files indexed – please help, of guide me to the appropriate site for assistance. Thank you!

Running Windows XP. I currently have both Windows Desktop Search and Lookeen running. Do I need both or am I indexing everything twice? Should I remove Windows Desktop Search? Is there anything it does that Lookeen does not?
Unfortunately the is no answer to the question above. I am also wondering if the installation of Windows Desk Search together with Lookeen will slow down my computer. On the other hand, there are anoying messages for installing Windows Search 4.0. What is the recommandation?

Our opinion is that you only need one indexing and search tool. You don’t need Windows Desktop Search if you have Lookeen. After Lookeen is installed, you can un-install Windows Desktop Search.
